We are all searching for happiness
It's evading...playing games...like hide-n-seek
You seem to have got some success
Will you give a hand?
Otherwise we'll keep looking...as life goes on...

Some blame it on circumstances
Others say it's all in the mind
I think both play a role
But which one weighs on you more?
Depends, in that period, what you find...

Take a deep breath! I think it does help!
The troubled waters seem calmer...
Oh no! But there is a turbulence ahead!
My boat will survive this storm
As life goes on...

Some are not so lucky
Or don't have the strength...
Will you give out your hand?
Even if its for a moment...

Most seem to be short of it...
So do you have the time?
If so, just extend your hand a little
The reassurance is prime...

If not, its OK too!
Someone else will come along...
Hold them steady for a bit
As life goes on...

But life is too short, Dear Friend!
Before you know it's done!
This may be the last chance...
I pray, you know when it's time
To hold someone's hand...

You ask, how will you know?
When to give out your hand.
Look in their eyes, on to you it will dawn
While they trudge on their way
As life goes on...
