Tumko Dekha To Yeh Khayaal Aaya (Cactus Flower-Pic Attached) - Poem by Sumali Nagarajan

Tumko dekha to yeh khayaal aaya
Bhesh ko kathor par dil ko naram paaya
Tum murjha jaaoge to sochenge
Tumhe to khoya, tumhari tasveer ko paaya

Aaj phir dilne tumhe chhuna chaha
Aaj phir kaatonne hamko tadpaaya

Tumko dekha to yeh khayaal aaya
Swabhav ko komal par mijaz ko prabal paaya
Tum chale jaaoge to sochenge
Tumhe to khoya, tumhare parichay ko paaya.

Tumko dekha to yeh khayaal aaya
Tane ko mulayam par pattiyon ko nokila paaya
Jab bhi yaad aaoge to sochenge
Itne kade poudhe mein itna nazuk phul
Kahan se aaya.

The poem is based on an old Hindi movie song but it has a spirit of its own. It coveys an amazing philosophy of life. Thanks for the poem and the graphics. (Report) Reply

Things are not always as they seem.. There is much hidden beneath the tip of the iceberg.. Khubsoorat kavita hai.. Ise hum se baat ne ke liye sukhriya.. (Report) Reply
