As The Tambourine Played Poem by Reynaldo Casison

As The Tambourine Played

Rating: 5.0

As The tambourine played,
We fell in love,
With her ethereal beauty,
With her exotic dresses,
And eyes of splendors,
Beyond the blue,

As the tambourine played,
The mellow hope,
of her love,
Dressed the moons,
Of our souls,
With kisses and stars,

As the tambourine played,
Her long deep hair,
Unwound like jazz,

As the tambourine played,
Even the seashells,
Were enthralled,
As her dress swayed,
With a sweet,
Melody of love,

As the tambourine played,
Even the stars,
were enthralled,
As her dress swayed,
With a unique,
Melody of our love,
And the honey waves,
Were as one dove

Tambourine: a musical instrument that has a circular frame covered with plastic or skin, with metal discs round the edge....Please clarify LOVE?

I am little bit confused here - to fell in love and already fallen in love with WHOM? Instrument or a GIRL? Poem is very well written
