As the world turns
Will we ever learn
From cities that burn
And mothers that hurt
Pursue we must the truth
And educate the youth
Many always want more
Not knowing
What we’re looking for
Not growing
And breeding war
On this earth
There is plenty
It is worth
As much as we can see
Kingdoms rise and fall
And peace cannot be found
In city halls
The future lies in our hands
The inheritors of these lands
So we must take a stand
Cultivate morals and virtue
And know the world is a circle
Many people understand this, Sebastian, unfortunately, many more do not. Nicely done
as in TS Eliot's The Hollow Men: ''Here we go round the prickly pear'' :) Thanks for sharing, Sebastian, and WELCOME!

The future lies in our hands The inheritors of these lands So we must take a stand Cultivate morals and virtue And know the world is a circle These last lines i liked very much. It is the culmination and solution of all that you said before. thank you very much.
