Asante Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Asante

Come my ruler,
Come right in and make love to me;
Come my rider,
Come right in and make love to me;
For i have been waiting for so long.

Asante, give me a little food to eat for i am hungry;
And to sit under the palm tree between Ramah and Beth-El,
For your love is all that will satisfy me.
