Ascended Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Ascended

Long
Long
Ago
He
Started
With
His
Son
With
His
Staff
The
Mount
Ascended
The
Rocks
Began
To
Tremble
For
In
The
Sacred
There
Be
Trembling
At
The
Last
Dawn
I
Missed
At
The
Last
Dawn
I
Missed
But
Hear!
The
Night
Will
Come
Next
And
Then
Watch
The
Dawn
Do
Not
Miss
This
Time
With
Your
Brain
quiver
then
a
Voice
From
The
Heavens
Broke
And
It
Asked:
Whither
Go
You?
What
Seek
You
From
The
Dawn?
What
Missed
You
From
Her?
And
I
Looked
At
The
Heavens
In
The
Deep
Profound
Immense
And
Shouted:
This
Is
Life
I
Want
So much
To see
The
life
Of
Dawn
I
Missed
It
Must
Be
In her
Light
As
That
Pillar of Light moves
Faster than light
Over orbs planets
And suns
Beginning
Dawn
Light
New Day
Light
Genesis
The Pillar of Light
The Beginning
The Alpha
The All in One
The One in All
Sailing.'
