Ashes To Dust
Have you ever come to terms with death
Stared deep into Her void?
The aimless end of every dream
Nothing really as it seems
I hate how well-acquainted I've become with Lady Death
The ice of Her dark breath, stealing life away
So mean
Why does She have to haunt me here, after sixty years of Her blessings?
I can't help second-guessing Life's own dream within a dream
Life goes on, until It doesn't: how long is up to Us
Either way we live our choices
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
