Ask Me Not If I Love You Poem by Tina Baaklini

Ask Me Not If I Love You

My love,

Ask me not if I love you
Ask my heart, it will tell you
The sky speaks not of its love to the sun
But they both embrace before night comes
And their kiss turns the sky to passionate hues

Feelings are felt not heard
But they're more honest than words
From the heart feelings are flooded
Vibes are raw, words can be sugar-coated

Thus life taught me
To belief what I feel
Rather than what I hear
For I trust more my heart than my ears

But with you, sweet soulmate
I blindly believe all the words you say
I feel your love with every breath you take
And have faith in everything you make
For thanks to your love, life in my soul awakes
