Assaying Poem by Satish Verma

Assaying

Rating: 5.0

Sailing,
triangulating the body.
I will not come for the false blues.

You dig out the bones―
to evaluate the sickle,
that failed to trim the dark.

The murder was clean.
A religion lies beheaded.
Anaerobic, the poem survived.

The animal smell,
stays.Overpowers the limbs.
You run blindfolded.

The crickets emit an omen.
A sulfur burns.
The yellow sun was rising.

Aloha Satish... Good Morning my brother bard... What a spin on the digging into and extracting out of... a soul... it as like any other rock... a bit hard to crack, by hand... but when put to a sledge hammer... well, it opens up in a most pain filled way... these words are spun as if brushed by Dali... or as pushed along by Kafka...and make a great am meal... for me! and the analogy of sailing to... nothing like the depths of the great water to rinse out and expose all those hidden fines... wonderful work of words... Thank you for expressing to US this beauty from your mind... All of the best from this life, to you, and all of your relations... Michaelw1two.
