Astray Poem by Daniel Muller

Astray

I was lost when I saw her
Stumbling through the wilderness
I heard the laughter
A unicorn in midair
I followed the wisps's lights
And saw her in the rain
I stumbled and I fell
Then raised my muddled head
I ran across the plains
A rabid dog on heat
I dropped into the rabbit's hole
Confounded of my plight
I am now lost forever
Here in wonderland
