Asylum Poem by Altair Laahad

Asylum

Light escaped from his eyes
like the day skinned from the night,
beholding the sun running far off
for a refuge
with the moon following,
stealing beams from the far-fetched rays
of those days that sailed away;
while there he stays
in the asylum of his skin.
