At Half Mast Poem by Randy McClave

At Half Mast

On January the 20th
Our flags in America will be flown at half mast,
A new President will be sworn in
Our country will not last.

Our forefathers of these United States
The proud, the patriotic and the brave,
Seeing what our country has now become
They are indeed turning over in their grave.

On January the twentieth 2025
The inaugurated president is a convicted felon,
He is a wannabe dictator as well
To foreign countries our secrets he was sellin'.

Our fallen soldiers are crying
Because, of a man who tried to overthrow our country,
He wanted to make himself a dictator
Now the president of the United States he will be.

On January the 25th of this year
Myself and all true patriotic Americans will be crying,
Our great country will have fallen
The U.S flag will be at half mast, and not flying.
