At Sudden Death Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I know many may come to lay the wreath
They may be very sad at my sudden death
What can be felt at somebody's departure?
Everybody may say it is end of full tenure

You may realize importance and worth
When nothing coming or expected forth
It is really a bad time and critical situation
Life can be lived not in isolation but with continuation

You have lost the cover and head
You will have to carve out and lead
Many things may not be seen and go as unread
You will be facing problems of kind never heard

Well, I will be forgotten after some interval
Some more will be added and welcomed on arrival
Life may move on and nothing will be changed
Everything will be settled and nicely managed

I tried my level best to accommodate
It was well maintained up to date
It is now clear responsibility to go ahead
Whole family should bound together in nice thread

I am very sure that you all can do
This has got some weight and very true
One departs and another takes over
They may now act as shield or cover

It is nice to be found among family
Some may act brave and some may act silly
We got to take them together and stay
No one can afford to remain far or go away

It is not easy as thought over in some quarter
No one can act differently or try to be smarter
It has to go on as single entity or force
For any thing wrong not one only may feel remorse

Every single member is given enough opportunity
It has wide importance and full utility
No one can claim any special credit
No mistakes, but if any, then combined effort to edit

I had taken care to bring them up nicely
They are trained to face it bravely
They may not face any hurdle
They may make the way and not stay in middle

This is how one makes the way
As head he has complete power and say
He may yield power and have full sway
He has to stay there and make the way

If death is reality then survival is big cause
No one can afford to relax or wait for pause
The cart has to be pulled further for reaching an end
This must be the indication and clear trend
