At The Blowing Of The Whistle Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

At The Blowing Of The Whistle

At the blowing of the Whistle
The falling of night dews.

By a whole team of
Roster is the Whistle blown.

The Moon, the Night, Morpheus…..

They all blow the Whistle
And the dew falls.

But yesterday Morpheus was
Late.
Cloudy and foggy
He at last moved about
And blew the Whistle.
