At The Edge Of A Transparent Universe Poem by Rob Knetsch

At The Edge Of A Transparent Universe

It was just a matter of chance
that today, not some other day,
a transparent flux would appear
very near the edge of the city
colorless but with a sheen of gold
it looked so beautiful and real
that even the leprechauns wife
got up and started tinkering with
all the workings of the universe
just to try to get closer to the gold
