At The Poetree Poem by Bamukunda Hillary

At The Poetree

.
Standing on a poetree
He took a decree
Not to leave her free
But to live with her like a flea.
.
Words stung out in her veins
Though his story remained in vain
He decided as a trailer on her train
To travel with his love to feign
.
He fed on his ultimate patience
Run on his desired and longed breakout
For a timely failed prison break.
He didnot give up,
As she Carressed his hopes,
That one day,
He will have his day
.
Standing on a poetree
Words, lines and stanzas
All cried of this abandoned heart
Untouched but burdened
Neutral but on a high way
To where care and peace prevailed
In the land of the benovelet smiles
That fed on his unmissed revelation
.
Climbing on the poetree
He got hold of the branches
Had sight on the leaves
They had not withered away
There his hope lay
He still had the reason to live
He opened his ears thus
To hear of the voice
'I love you too'
