Attach no sentiments

Why do you feel pain?
when it is not going to remain
with you permanently
but go away silently

if life is not in your hand
Enjoy it till the end nears
fear no one
as things come and remain gone

attach no sentiments
and present
as if that belongs to,
and makes you commit wrong

the life is to be made good use of
spending it nobly without resorting to misuse
or for arrogant living
and falsely believing in ownership

if it has come by fortune
tune it with your happiness
spend it for the welfare of the living beings
and try to bring happiness for all
