Attention Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Attention

Attention

As do pets and the kids
Using games and tricks
To buy more attention
So do the patients, sick
Most of all crippled

And all are sensitive
Irritate promptly
If the game is failing!

A-son's call one of these…

Hospital kicked him out
Against his denial
To get him out of sight…

-took tablets to kill me
-legs are dead already
-soon will be abdomen
-then chest, lungs
-so bye-bye

Called police
Nine-one-one
My eyes red
I cried!

Explained
Begging, I pleaded
-somebody is dying
-go please and save him
-he is young, crippled
-has no one, sees no care

They called me with kindness
-no worry,
-care he got, is OK

Later on I heard that
He never took tablets
He lied for attention!
