Aubade I Poem by Joshua Adeyemi

Aubade I

The dusk prolonged her day.
The sky had wept amazed.
The pitch she tend to stay:
Her gun she sprayed a waste.
Then comes the sun in harms,
To squeeze the dusk in arms.
She saw the pair and flee,
Her heels she lent the art:
Afraid of all his acts.- - -
The dawn then takes the pitch.
