Aura Poem by Sam Yang

Aura

Rating: 5.0

Her heart glowed as I walked closer
Her clandestine eyes searched the crowd
An aura of longing surrounded the air
Until our eyes met and all voices drowned.

She couldn't look up at me
For my presence was so strong
Till I lifted up her chin
And sung her the sweetest love song.

She is my one and only
The lights dimmed as I discover
Her eyes tell a beautiful story
I'd die a thousand times to be her lover.

The stars shine brighter around her
The air smells sweeter
The true meaning of love is found
When I got on my knees and held her.

She fell into my arms crying
My heart leapt out to catch her
I embraced her until she calmed
And told her that love was forever.
