Auric Hues - Poem by Knight Fizzstorm
Sunlight teasing blue avaricious pose
absorbing spectrum shear white wild rays
delicious transference lights the quiet road
I have been traversing on many days.
I heard storming, unsettled quaking ground
intrusive branches rustled in advance
startled from behind I turned sudden round
enamored by her fleeted passions dance.
Chestnut colored breast mane reddish tinged
eyes of auric hues swift determined gait
deposing blue sunlight now battle singed
wind strewn leaves unresisting in her wake.
My heart leapt with pulsed delirium's high
hoofed magnificence holding me in trance.
I beseeched earthen spirits and poised sky,
Auric Hues, bear my armor and my lance.
