The big Land of many shades of brown and green
Of amazing flora and fauna nowhere else to be seen
That from the nearest Country in distance is far away
For to describe Australia are there words for to say
Home to a very old indigenous race
Their genes to the people of the Dreamtime they can trace
Their story by centuries does pre date written history
Of the whereabouts of their old burial sites remain as a mystery
Home to birds and animals nowhere else to be seen
Many tourists describe it as the most amazing part of the World to they have been
Home to eucalypt and wattles and pittosporum trees
And of climate and scenery of varying degrees
One of the World's most beautiful Countries there can be little doubt
Australia the big amazing Land of the south.
