Australia from anywhere in distance far away
A big and wide Land ofscenery and climates of vaying degrees
Home to eucalypt and wattles and pittosporum trees
A Land of many shades of colours of brown and of green
Of amazing wildlife in the wild state nowhere else to be seen
Home to many species of marsupials and megapodes, ratites and monoterene
More species of animals and birds than in anywhere else to i have been
Home to the descendants of the people of the dreamtime
Australia has inspired the writers of song, story and rhyme
Far inland from it's beautiful beaches through a Land wide and brown
There can be hundreds of kilometres of roadway between every bush town
Australia the big land distant from anywhere
One of the amazing Countries of the big World out there.
