Autumn Poem by Ellen Ni Bheachain

Autumn shows the leaves in falling letting us know,
This year is near a closing,
All we have done and all we have not done,
Reflects upon our minds,
When autumn shows to let us know,
Another year is closing in,

It is a time to clear up and a time to clarify,
What, was misunderstood,
Or lead to mislead in others that believe,
In Autumn we reflect and think for a while,

Autumn weather makes us stop to think,
About the why's and what not's,
That we ponder on,
Where some go quiet and meek,
At Autumn time,
Others will take the time to reflect upon,
The whys or whatever of the year so far.
