Autumn Bright Poem by Phil Daniels

Autumn Bright

Rating: 5.0

Nothing so gay as autumn Bright
When all the trees they come alight
Tourists they come from far and wide
Their awe and wonder cannot hide

Now looking upon that colour span
The reds the golds and browns they scan
Oh what a multiplicity of hue
As they take in that wonder view

Walking underneath the shade
As sunlight beaming like a blade
Shimmers twinkles through each leaf
And tourists in wonderment gaze beneath

Carpets of golden reds and brown
Cover Bright throughout the town
Oh God I thank you for your art
This town we leave, we take a part

So in our heart and in our eye
Gods beauty in Bright cannot deny
For having come and having been
This sight a beautiful glorious scene
