Awake Poem by Phil Daniels

Awake

Awake, awake Christians to break
Satan's spell please, please awake
To Satan your soul did sell
Please, please awake break Satan's spell

Cast him out return him to hell
Your soul to him you cannot sell
Did not Jesus Christ for you die
To make claim to your soul did vie

Awake, awake not to hell to burn
The love of Christ please don't spurn
For He suffered pain and shame
Please, please don't play Satan's game

Satan and all his fallen angel devils
Will in his game entice you to revel
So please say no to this worldly place
Join Jesus and run his wondrous race

Awake, awake you Christian child
Come to Jesus so meek and mild
He's given an invite to his heavenly home
Please, please come no more to roam

He waits He waits at pearly gate
His blood spilled your sins to abate
Oh please don't allow soul to sick
Give your enemy Satan the flick
