Autumn Flame Poem by Howard Johnson

Autumn Flame

Rating: 2.5

There is something
In the autumn air
It wakes and stirs feelings unpaired
Of my native blood
In a manner of its warming touch
Hinting to a changing mood
From the distance familure past
Memories pondered a forecast
The scarlet color of changing trees
Leaves shake and make its sounds
Every hill and on the ground
Looks like its in a flame
The wind calls and echos my name

I really like this poem because autumn really does wake up a whole need side of needs and desires in a person. I love the part about how the leaves look like flames because i think the same thing.
