Autumn Haiku Poem by GORDON GILHULY

Autumn Haiku

autumn moon's dulcet
silver softens this hard world -
your hair's sweet magic

autumn moon transmutes
these stark fields - the alchemy
of your love transforms

stormy autumn day
umbrellas, hunched shoulders - you
laughing in the rain

cold autumn rain drifts
through the city - absence makes
the heart grow older
