Autumn Nights

Slowly but steadily
I am falling for
the trap of autumn night,
Shedding away inhibitions
like falling leaves
in total surrender
to the whims of winds
Passionate mating cries
of stray dogs
echoing in my mind
almost like a chant
awakening the animal in me
To celebrate
This season of
Decay and recreation
salvation and passion….
