Ava, my darling grand-daughter so fair,
With a doll-like face and beauty beyond compare,
Your smile is so bright; it captures my heart,
A memory I'll cherish, never to depart.

I still remember the day I held you close,
Your tiny fingers and your cute nose,
Your little body, so warm and so snug,
I felt an overwhelming feeling of love.

As time passes, you grow, and you learn,
With each passing day, you continue to earn
Brighter and brighter, like a shining star,
You light up my world, no matter where you are.

Ava, my darling, you mean the world to me,
A precious gem, a true rarity,
May your smile never fade, your heart never breaks,
And may your life be filled with joy and no mistakes.

So here's to you, my darling grandchild,
May you always be happy, healthy, and kind
And know that you'll always hold a special place,
In my heart, in my soul, in every single space
