Avoiding Hell? - Poem by Joseph James Breunig 3rd

Have you sealed your fate
with the rejection of Him?
Accept Christ now
before your life wears thin.

For in permanent separation
there's no God or peace -
Only continual torment and anguish
without any comfort or release.

Alone in the dark
as fallen angels without light,
you too will become a demon creature
lacking hope of spiritual sight.

Forget about Purgatory,
but make a decision today -
avoiding Hell can be done,
for Christ is the Life, Truth and Way.

There is a saying 'Mind is in its own place. It is the man who makes heaven out hell or hell out of heaven.' It is true, we can make always a heaven out of hell with the mecy of Jesus. Even in the cemetery, colorful flowers grow indicating lives in the dead man's zone. (Report) Reply

I think this is a very well written poem, although we clearly have very different points of view. I wrote one called Better Pass The Handbasket, which gives my opinion, if you'd like to read it. Maybe we can just agree to disagree!
