Twinkling like starlight in my mind, teasing me with
little rhymes of childhood as I write intimately of
life's reality.
At times taking life too seriously, yet isn't it?
Joy and laughter have their parts to play, pushing
away sorrow and grief.
Yet, even in times of happiness we are lonely and
silent, wishing to find a center to keep us always
balanced.
So far it eludes us daily, seeming an impossibility,
awaiting our solutions through measures of time as
we progress through the years of life.
