Awake With The Sun Poem by Mockingjay Mellark

Awake With The Sun

Rating: 4.5

I woke with the sun's rays
And the roosters too
I woke to hear the early birds
And listened to them coo
I woke with the sun
And watched it steadily rise
I felt so young
And insignificant in size
The clouds slowly parted ways
They were dyed a pink and purple hue
I know it happens every day
But each time it is still new

What better way to feel refreshed in spirit of self awareness than to be greeted by a beautiful dawn. I can fell the warmth from here. Sweet and simply put. Perfect....PEACE
