Bird Of Cheer Poem by Mockingjay Mellark

Bird Of Cheer

A bright cheerful bird flew in
She lighted on a ledge
She opened her beak and poured forth such song
That I couldn't help but stop being on edge
She comes sometimes
This wonderful bird
She comes just when I need her
She knows I need a song without words
And her chirping fills my heart with summer
She sings from her perch on my soul
Her chirping takes away all my fear
The sun shines forth in my mind
As I listen to the most melodious lightening song of cheer
