Awakening Of Spring Poem by Alyssa ArtsLover

Awakening Of Spring

Blinded eyes delusively blink at me
By nodding their head up and down they say 'Come closer here'
They already know they didn't dream in vain
By unfolding what they've woven they turn everything real

I hear the farewell whisper of the fog
'We'll meet again in the storm'
I try to catch him to ask
'Do not leave me locked in this body'
But as the yellow light silences his grey words
Finally he screams to the heaven for one more time
It takes all my hope away-im not able to fly

Like a bird without wings
I stuck to the Earth in doubt and loneliness
I stay broken and worn
-A defenseless rose without thorns-

Zephyr soft wind lets its fragrant voice to be heard
While it touches my skin it slowly cuddles me
With vibrating violet twigs it asks the lilacs to sing

The sorrow of the wanderers just goes away
Calm and satisfaction sits on their tired face
However everything is covered by serenity-like thousands of small beams-
My eyes are still faded by the veil of rain

They don't tell me
They cover everything in nice words-even if its grim
The lies in promises
They forgive everything that I thought they forgot already
They recall everything what once used to make us laugh so madly
The sorrow that used to be buried by a million decades-The scars so deadly

They seclude the truth from me,
But they do it in vain
I read inside their tear wrapped souls-the secret boxes without top, the unclosed diaries
I see my sleeping light in the reflection of tiny little dews
I know, among the blooming Im the withering flower
My painful breath is the cool autumn breeze
Like the slipping fog's life
My time slowly passes away

And the spring awakes...
