Azaan
Azaan is the call for prayer.
The caller calls all the faithful
To the mosque for offering prayer.
It must have been in practice
For the neo-Muslims to accustom
To the new going to the mosque.
The devout and faithful Muslims
Would come on their own accord
To offer namaz to Allah in time.
It is like ringing bell in temples
Calling devotees to temples.
Both are redundant practices.
