Lean on me
When you're not strong
If you're alone
Needing a friend

Lean on me
When you're feeling low
Life's dealt you a blow
You need a shoulder

All of your burdens
I need to share
My endless love
How much I care

Lean on me
Any time of the day
And in any way
You need someone

And then somewhere
Toward the end
Remember the friend
That you could lean on

And when the time comes
For God to take you home
You won't be alone
I'll be there to lean on
