B: Xxxxxxxxi: The Rodent

Number one French word ‘voilà’
gives a sense of ‘at last! ’
when used to mean ‘now’.

But ease
won’t replace deprivation
without nourishment.

And when it has,
the last thing is already gnawing away,
needy as a rodent.
