Baby Girl Poem by Gerald Hamilton Jr

Baby Girl

Rating: 5.0

Baby Girl… For you and only you my heart beats true.
When I hear your voice my legs get weak.
When we have to go my heart skips a beat.
Life has been tough but it wasn’t enough.
My spirit stays strong I have the strength to carry on.

Baby Girl… We have so much in common it gives me chills.
No matter how much we talk I can’t get my fill.
It’s an act of god that we have met.
Or maybe its just destiny.
Either way I’m glad we connect.

Baby Girl… I feel your pain, I know you’re hurt.
I hope you realize we can make it work.
I will always be here when you cry.
In-fact use my shoulder to dry your eyes.

Baby Girl… When you feel alone my arms are open to keep you warm.
I’ll hold you close, we will become one.
None of our pasts can be undone.
Our lessons are learned now the future looks bright.
Just hold your head high for when the time is right.
I will hold you for the rest of our lives.
Forever your my Baby Girl…
