She has a baby on her back
And another in her tummy
Young, female and black
She now responds to “mommy”
And forever will
It was a cheap thrill
That cost her her sanity
I just hope she won’t end up in vanity
She walks on the rural streets
A long walk
And every man she meets
Begins to talk
And forever will
It was a cheap thrill
That cost her her sanity
I just hope she won’t end up in vanity
Her partners have not seen her in the still place
Nor heard her pray
They don’t think of what she has to face
They all have walked away
And forever will
It was a cheap thrill
That cost her her sanity
I just hope she won’t end up in vanity
The walk to the well is long, the sun burning
Her peers are not there
“Look at this girl who could be learning! ”
Say old women who stop and stare
And forever will
It was a cheap thrill
That cost her her sanity
I just hope she won’t end up in vanity
She cries
“What about my destiny? ”
And within she dies
And continues to vanity
And forever will
Unless you and I stop to hear her story
And restore to her the Father’s glory
For though the thrill was cheap
She comes expensive
For Jesus the King reigns and He says:
“I saw her in her cheap thrill,
But it is not enough to kill- her destiny.
All she must do is turn to Me.”
So baby on her back and one in her tummy
There is still a destiny for this little mummy
And this destiny is Jesus
And forever will
It was a cheap thrill
That cost her her sanity
But no- she won’t end up in vanity
Instead she will bless humanity
This is very touchy and a very sensitive issue in africa.thank u for the voice.u ar also spreading a message
Realities on most African communities may sometimes sound like a fiction to some people, let say to Western World. True, life here looks different but exciting to these within. Nice work

Unless you and I stop to hear her story And restore to her the Father’s glory For though the thrill was cheap She comes expensive For Jesus the King reigns and He says: “I saw her in her cheap thrill, Bringing Jesus into the painful story of a woman...... that is nice. finally we find comfort only in faith. human beings are very often faithless. thank you. tony
