It took too long
My world was so dark
The only light came from your eyes
Only when i saw you

Now that fateful day has come
You're back in my arms
My world so perfect once again
Holding you again tonight

The soft touch of your skin
The gentle squeeze of your hands
The light reflecting off your blue eyes
Your kiss leaving me breathless

Everything i missed
Everything i thought i'd never have again
Came back to me with love
Now i'll show you everything i am and can be

Where i went wrong at first
The things i did and didn't realize
I know those things now
This time i'll be everything you want me to be

Girl i love you
I won't say i can't live without you
But i will tell you that i DON'T want to live without you
I'll prove this to you everyday

Look at me where i stand
Know i'm speaking the truth
Know this time i'll do things right
This time will be the last because it'll last forever.
