It's been awhile, since I've seen
your smile and even, held your
hand. I can picture it all, in my
mind, but I still, can't understand!
You were taken from me, so very
fast, I can still, remember that day.
I never dreamed, this would happen
like it did and now, it's years, since
you've gone away! It's never easy,
losing someone you love, no matter
whom it might be. Especially you my
father, who meant the world, to me!
You were, my guiding star, my one
and only! Without you, life has been
so very lonely! Oh how I wish I could
turn back the years, I'd do it in a
minute. As long as I could go back to
the time, when dad, you were still in
it! Those were the best times, needless
to say. How I wish it never happened
and you, were back, to stay! !
