Bad 2 Good - Poem by Bria Keyes

Here's my life from bad to good. Growing up moving from the projects,
to another worst hood. Stealing from people i thought it was good,
Middle school fighting for the fun, my boys i liked them spicy,
on a bun. High school startes smart mouthin and fightin teachers,
stopped going to church and hearing the word of the preacher.
Started doing my own thing being my own speaker,
Doing me just got me in trouble, i thought it was
fun but popped went my bubble. I started hanging with 'da headbangers' and knocking people down as if they were
strangers. It took getting locked up to settle me down,
but trouble was still calling me like a bloodhound. I got
back in church trying to do the right thing, but people hate to admit it like Simon and a girl who can really sing. My reputation follows me
like a ghost in the night, but this battle i have to fight.
My life started getting back on track, getting my GED so i
can go into the military so i can be happy. I like how things are working out. I did a whole switcheroo from bad 2 good and it all started
...... with a bad girl from the hood
