Bad Timing Is Everything - Poem by Rain Storm
After all the dust had settled
And all the wounds had healed
They started to talk things over
And something very surprising was revealed
They were in love
But not the simple
Easy kind of love
That we read about in fairy tales
Their's was fiery
Full of risks
And chances to fail.
This story has no happy ending
Or at least not yet
Because as these two have learned
Their love is full of pain and suffering
And for them
The timing is always wrong
In their world timing is everything.
When they could have been together
The bombs would have gone off
The whistles would have sounded
Their love would have been scoffed.
But now that the war is over
Sadly it seems they are too
Because for this pair
Timing is everything
And good times are far too few.
