Balance - Poem by Tsani Jones

The mirror of the soul
And the pathway to the heart
Lies deep within her eyes.

Pale green
With a glistening of waters,
And a solace exuding peace,
Yet lit among
Bright silvery grey...
A glint of power,
Fire against that
Which in theory cannot

These are the balance
Of a common duality-
Yin and Yang,
The forces melding
Into a blend of vigor.

In these orbs, Yin
Settles softly
As a feather in a pond
Of clear water
Fluid and passive.

In the sea of foamy green
Those eyes call
As a child wanting to
Be held in embrace,
'Make love to me...'

However, the Yang in her
Arises like mercury,
With lightning and power...
Passion coupled with electricity
Wailing in fury, without question,
'I will have you! '

The coupling is
Mystical altogether,
Questioning which is
The good,
And which is the evil.

Perhaps the evil lies within
Never knowing
The sensual explosion of experience
In her raging storms of erotic flame,
Floating aloft on a backdrop
Of angelic verdancy,
Which contains the true
Garden of good and evil.
