Ambrosia Poem by Tsani Jones

Ambrosia

Rating: 5.0

It was the taste
Of salt water on those
Soft pillow lips that reminded
Him of making love to her on the beach...

Under the stars
A glowing tapestry
Of god's chiristmas lights
Sparkling, every day a new holiday to celebrate.

Through his love-stained goggles
It was not mere illumination,
But a heavenly candy store
Of divine sugar crystal.

And he adored her.

A smell of lavender
Coupled with the flower
Of her womanhood
Mixed into a floral shop
Designed by Nature.

Her hair was as the
Flames of Troy burning,
As the ships of his heartbreak
Disintegrate into the sea.

When she swam in his
Terrible oceanic eyes,
Smelled his body of seafoam,
She was there, too.

'And he adored her.' nice pause - spiritual, gospel-like - before you start again with the fantabular descriptions.
