Balancing On A Thin Line

This life we live, is made of dreams every day,
Some we will live and see, others slowly fade away,
Some will change our path, how we work and play,
Others we will look back, wishing we would have stayed.

We never know, what the next moment, may bring,
When starting the next day, we hope to hear birds, sing,
Knowing were always balancing, on a thin line,
There are days we are thankful, that we did not end up in a bind.
