Balloons Poem by Brittany Goldsmith

Balloons

Rating: 5.0

I want a million balloons to whisk me away.
In case of harsh winds, accompanied by my hairspray.
Balloons tied around each of my shoulders.
Feeling so brave, seeming much bolder,
Carried out into the great unknown,
Slipping through creases and cracks in the ozone.
Floating farther and farther into space,
I leave behind our galaxy with elegance and grace.
Never glancing back at a world I once held so dear,
I realize, things can only go up from here.

This is a beautiful piece of poetry. I really loved reading it. Got a feeling of gliding and soaring high myself, accompanied with the fragrance of your hairspray. 'Never glancing back at a world I once held so dear I realize, things can only go up from here' Thanks for these mystic lines! I rate this poem 10/10.
