Barren Sea Poem by John Ackerman

Barren Sea

Barren Sea

to please indeed;
the warped put speed
shallow measure of what I can remember;
pause to think another look to think
suffer in silence overt the sequence;
black tie offering shade of brass to think
we love each other madly;

pillows so soft beneath the friction of the make believe
the devil is a liar
professed to be a liar
shade of grey to offer
reach the barren sea
