Baselitz The Decider

I don't think that Baselitz
paints his subjects upside-down.
I think he merely turns
his finished paintings around.

He has probably painted a drawing
that he has turned upside-down,
and turned around a half-done painting
and finished it upside-down.

He could even have turned a painting
half upside-down:
to turn it on its left or right side,
the issue he had to decide.
